Who it's for
People who already have a valid permit and need to extend it before it expires.
Who CAN'T apply for it
- If you've never held a residence permit, renewal isn't your procedure — you need the initial authorization instead.
- If your permit has been expired for more than 90 days, your case needs individual legal review before we can prepare documentation — message us on WhatsApp.
- If you already have 5 continuous years of residence, it may make more sense to apply directly for long-term residence instead of renewing.

When do I need to apply for renewal?
From 60 days before your permit expires up to 90 days after. Filing within that window automatically extends your legal status while it's being resolved.
What if I missed the deadline?
If less than 90 days have passed since expiry, you can still renew, though filing late can open a minor sanctions procedure, an approximate fine range rather than a fixed amount. Past 90 days, your case needs individual legal review.
Which form applies to me?
It depends on the basis: EX-03 for employed renewal, EX-07 for self-employed, EX-02 or EX-11 for family-based renewal. We'll tell you exactly which one fits your situation.
