How to get your immigration appointment
Even though we don't manage the appointment for you right now, this is part of what your preparation includes: a real guide to booking it yourself. It's a free procedure — you don't need to pay anyone to get it.

Where to book it
On the official site sede.administracionespublicas.gob.es, under "Cita Previa Extranjería". You can also call 060 for help.
What you'll need on hand
Your NIE or passport number, your province, and the exact procedure you're submitting. If you're not sure which one applies to you, it's in the checklist we prepare for you.
When new slots tend to open up
New slots open up as other people cancel, at times that vary and aren't fixed — there's no guaranteed official schedule, so the most reliable approach is checking the site regularly rather than trusting a specific hour you've read somewhere.
If you can't find a slot
Keep checking the site periodically: new slots open up every few days. Also check whether your procedure can be submitted online without an in-person appointment. If you've been stuck for a long time, message us and we'll take a look with you.
A submission appointment and a fingerprint appointment aren't the same
Some procedures require a first appointment to submit the application and, later, a separate second appointment for fingerprints and card collection. Always check the exact appointment type ('motivo de cita') you're booking — booking the wrong one is a common way to lose your slot.
If you can't make it, cancel your appointment
If you end up not being able to go, cancel it through the official site instead of just not showing up. That frees the slot for someone else and avoids being flagged as a no-show, which at some offices makes it harder to book a new appointment afterward.
Common mistakes that cost people their appointment
- Picking the wrong procedure from the dropdown, even if it sounds similar to yours
- Entering your NIE or passport number incorrectly, so the appointment ends up under the wrong details
- Letting the date pass without cancelling once you already know you can't make it
- Showing up missing one of the documents from your checklist, which can force you to book again
What you shouldn't do
Don't pay anyone for a resold appointment. Spain's National Police have dismantled several groups that block appointments using automated bots and resell them for €50-90 for something that's free — in some cases the appointment wasn't even real. Paying for this isn't just wasting money: it can leave you without a valid appointment on the day of your procedure.
